Scott Gallagher - Lead Pastor - Calvary Bible Church - Grass ValleyChina Radio

China Radio is a ministry that One Challenge International (OCI), began in 1982. Their program, entitled the Voice of Friendship Seminary (VFS), provides Bible training to pastors and Christian leaders in China. These people pastor churches in China with little or no training, often in spite of great opposition. These leaders have no opportunity to go to seminary or Bible College.
Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) broadcasts this program into China. The VFS, as it is known, is the largest program FEBC broadcasts into China and regularly receives about 2,000 responses a month.
Dick Hillis, who founded OCI in 1951, was the instigator of this program.

Scott Gallagher - Lead Pastor - Calvary Bible Church - Grass ValleyTrino and Esther Ortiz - Missionary Gospel Fellowship – Mexico

Trino found Christ through a missionary family from Venezuela.  He developed a passion for evangelism as they mentored him.  While at Central American Seminary, he met Esther. Esther's parents were pioneer missionaries.  Together they serve the Lord in Baja, California North.  Working with Missionary Gospel Fellowship, they began the Mexican Family Ministry.
CBC began its partnership with Trino and Esther in 1992 when the CBC youth had its first VBS ministry with the little church plant.  In the following years, CBC teamed with another church to build Monte Hermon Evangelical in Ensenada.  From this church, the vision was cast for ministry in the Ojos Negros/Puerta Trampa area.  In 2009, CBC approached Trino with the idea of building a church for the congregation in Puerta Trampa.  This was an answer to the prayers of Trino and Esther.  Since 1992, CBC's high school youth group has helped with VBS and various building projects. Other adult CBC groups have also helped with construction.  These short-term missions have greatly impacted the lives of people at CBC.  Trino and Esther's passion
is reaching the lost for Christ in a very poor area of Northern Baja California.
