Childrens Ministry

The goal of our children's ministry program is to make each child that enters one of our classrooms here at Calvary Bible Church feel "loved and valued." In this way we can manifest God's love during those impressionable years which is so important to the child's future personal relationship with Christ"

"He tends his flock like a shepherd: He gathers the lambs in his arms and carries them close to his heart; he gently leads those that have young." Isaiah 40:11

Children's Ministries are designed to support the spiritual training that parents instill in the home. Calvary Bible Church's large staff of children's workers are here to encourage and teach your children and assist you as you educate them.

We are grateful to God for permitting us to minister to your children. We love them.

LIBRARY

The library at Calvary Bible Church has an extensive children's collection. From numerous picture books for your youngest child, to early readers as they grow, you will find many books to choose from. For their next stage in reading, our juvenile collection has much to offer. Along with many Christian series that are popular amongst this age group, we have included many classics as well. We also have a large selection of nonfiction books for parents and children if desired. Some topics that are available in this section are Bible story books, history and science books, family devotionals, public school and home school helps. In addition to books, our library offers many videos. Some video favorites we have include a wonderful creation series by the Moody Institute, the Odyssey series from Focus on the Family, and of course Veggie Tales! Though the majority of our books are written from a Christian perspective, we have enjoyed adding other books to our collection that we feel are enriching or fun, yet at the same time safe and wholesome. To fully appreciate this resource, please visit our library and any one of our staff will be more than pleased to help you. The library is open every Sunday morning from 9:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
