Scott Gallagher - Lead Pastor - Calvary Bible Church - Grass ValleyIndia National Inland Mission - India and South Asia

India National Inland Mission has been one of Calvary Bible Church's longest supported missions. Paul Pillai, former orthodox Hindu and Communist, and his wife, Anne, began ministering in northern India in 1964. The history of their ministry sounds like the stories in Acts with its persecutions and supernatural advance of the gospel.

INIM's primary vision remains indigenous church planting and evangelism. They accomplish this goal through orphanages, Christian literature distribution ministries, medical and feeding ministries, Christian schools, a Bible college and seminary. Their trained Bible college graduates minister among the unreached in northern India, and other countries in which opposition to the gospel is great.

Bethesda Children's Home, established in 1976, their largest orphanage houses over 1,000 children, training them in God's word and the joy of a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ, as well as providing their formal education.

Dan and Linda Iles - Indigenous Ministries International - California and the World

Dr. Dan Iles serves as the Director of Educational Development with Indigenous Ministries International.  He and Linda serve where missionaries have limited access such as India, Indonesia and the Middle East.  Their goal is to encourage, strengthen and support the indigenous Christian leaders.  IMI provide conferences for pastors, micro-finance loans, and financial support for Bible colleges and church planters.  The goal is to give a helping hand for a specific length of time to encourage independence rather than dependence.

Dan came to Calvary Bible Church as a summer intern in 1975.  He was called by CBC to serve as Pastor of Youth and Christian Education in 1976 and was ordained by CBC.  God called Dan and Linda to be the first pastor of Combie Bible Church at Lake of the Pines as a missions’ project of Calvary Bible. Dan and Linda have had a passion for missions in each of the churches they have served and are excited that God is using them to help nationals reach nationals.

China Radio is a ministry that One Challenge International (OCI), began in 1982. Their program, entitled the Voice of Friendship Seminary (VFS), provides Bible training to pastors and Christian leaders in China. These people pastor churches in China with little or no training, often in spite of great opposition. These leaders have no opportunity to go to seminary or Bible College.

Far East Broadcasting Company (FEBC) broadcasts this program into China. The VFS, as it is known, is the largest program FEBC broadcasts into China and regularly receives about 2,000 responses a month.

Dick Hillis, who founded OCI in 1951, was the instigator of this program.
